About me
Hi my name is Annabel and I was born in Maidstone in Kent when I was little I had a speech and language problem so when I was six I went to lovely school in Worthing it started me talking at ten but they were brilliant. Because they only went up to ten I then went to school in Surrey till I was sixteen and then Derby both was very good and brilliant setting for the school.
When I was about eighteen got a job in an estate agency as a general office assistant which was a good job and I was there for ten years. But before all that I met Dave when I was twenty-five he was working in co-op but we started talking on facebook I was bored and randomly messaged him it grew then two years time he asked me in Rome to marry him.
In about a year we got married didn't want a long engagement. About another year I was pregnant with Noah then less than three years I had Lily.My life was looking good at this point......
Then end of March this year (2015) I found my left eye was doubling so I went to get it checked I was sent to nurology team to get checked. So while I was under their care they looked at MRI scans.
It took three more months to do anything else (June) my right eye went, also started getting headaches. They did another MRI they saw that the scan was slightly worse but not much.
They werent to worried as nothing seem to get to worse very quickly but then my leg decided to go wired for a week I was very wobbly but didnt think much of it. But my leg went very numb so thought I better get it checked.
So went to A&E but they decided to keep me in. I was in for few weeks because they weren't sure what it was. Then went to Cambridge as they said they can do a biopsy to see what's going on.
They found out then that a brain tumour. They cant cut it out but they will try anything to help me. it was hard to hear this even mum cried which made it hard too.. I had to stay in hospital a bit more. We talked about my plan what we going to do. talked to Dr Yipp about what is happening and what's going on. it was useful.
He talked about doing radiotherapy for fifteen days or thirty days but we will decide when we are doing it.
Finally went to live with my parents as I lost my right side of my body and couldn't move upstairs and with two kids would be hard for me. We then did the radiotherapy in couple of weeks, we did it for fifteen days I felt actually well most of the days.l Then afterwards went to Cambridge to see someone she was actually pleased with me and everything. And said in two-three months they will do a scan to see if the radiotherapy done the job - shrink the tumour they might consider chemo but its all a waiting game.
Anyway that's where we are. But we also found a website where mum found diet which apparently is better for me so I will be adding that as well.
The diet I am following
Is called Rainbow Diet which you will find on http://www.canceractive.com/cancer-active-page-link.aspx?n=2027 it's a good diet mum can keep me going and knows what best. So keep looking and see what you think but I think my new diet has helped me a lot.
On this website
I am trying to keep everyone update and encourage that people need to keep diet seriously and raise money for the organisations who has giving me and my family support
so I hope you all will be able to help and support where it needs and thank you for looking at my website
